Skin Infection inspired Embroidered Gloves and Jewellery

I started to look at skin infections and the shapes and texture that were created on the skin by them. I wanted to show had something perceived as ugly and unhygienic can become beautiful. I wanted to start changing peoples mindset on skin infections and get people to understand they aren't anything to be embarrassed about. Many people suffer from skin infections and conditions, many of which have no cure. I wanted to show people that these aren't some that you should shy away from hiding and that embracing them can be a powerful process. In recent new model Winne Harlow walked down the catwalk of Desigual fashion show, Winne has the skin condition vitiligo. She has started a movement of acceptance of toward skin condition in society.
